Remember to Keep Your Certifications Up-To-Date at the Union Office

As you know, each member and permittee is required to submit various certifications as a condition of membership and our collective agreements. As such we would like to remind you to keep your certificates up-to-date with the 411 office. If you don’t know what certificates the union has on file for you or when your certifications are going to expire, please contact IATSE Local 411 Administrative Assistant Sarah Senechal at 416-645-8025 or via email at office@iatse411.ca.

It is the responsibility of each member and permittee

to keep track of what certifications are on file

and when they need to be updated.

Certificates and related documents can be submitted to the IATSE Local 411 office by one of the following methods:

  • IN-PERSON OR VIA REGULAR MAIL

You can drop a hard copy off of your certificate or related documents at the union office or send it by regular mail to: IATSE Local 411 – 1315 Lawrence Avenue East, Unit 103, Toronto, ON M3A 3R3.

  • VIA FAX*

You can fax your certificate or related documents to: 416-645-8026.

  • VIA EMAIL

You can send a clear high quality scan or photograph of your certificate or document as an attachment to an email in pdf or jpeg format to: office@iatse411.ca.

*Please note: photo ID cards such as drivers licences (copy of the front and back of the card is required) do not transmit properly via fax so they must be submitted by hard copy or email, therefore a fax of any Photo ID will NOT be accepted via fax.

When submitting documents digitally please note the following:

  • We cannot accept compressed, zipped, password protected files, and/or login credentials to an FTP site.
  • Images must be submitted as either high-resolution JPEGs or PDF’s.
  • Images and documents must be sent as attachments to the email, not embedded in the message body of the email.
  • Large file sizes are recommended to produce the best results.
  • Images should be correctly exposed and in-focus. (do not send blurry photographs)
  • When taking photographs of your documents, do it in a well-lit space. Avoid using a flash and pay attention to shadows.
  • The certificate or document should take up the full frame of the image or scan, no other objects or body parts should appear in the image.
